Zanzibar welcomed a record 124,481 international visitors in August, an 18% increase from last year. Most tourists came from Europe, especially Italy, Britain, and Germany, with strong growth from Africa and emerging markets like Russia and India. Air travel was the main entry method, and high hotel occupancy showed strong demand for accommodation.
